What a fantastic weekend in June as we joined Mercedes-Benz Australia in celebrating 140 years of Mercedes-Benz at the iconic Lindsay Fox Collection in Melbourne.

The event brought together Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts, customers, and collectors to honour the rich heritage of the world's oldest automotive brand. Surrounded by an incredible collection of historic vehicles, guests were able to experience firsthand the innovation, craftsmanship, and pioneering spirit that have defined Mercedes-Benz for generations.

Mercedes-Benz Toorak was proud to invite a number of our valued clients to be part of this special occasion. It was a wonderful opportunity to share an exclusive experience with those who share our passion for the brand, while enjoying a rare look at some of automotive history's most significant vehicles.

As Mercedes-Benz continues to shape the future through luxury, innovation, and electrification, the celebration was a fitting reminder of the remarkable legacy that has driven the brand for 140 years.

A masterclass in performance and determination, Monaco once again proved why it remains one of the crown jewels of world motorsport.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the world's most legendary endurance races, pushing both machine and team to their absolute limits. For 24 continuous hours, competitors face changing conditions, intense competition, and the challenge of maintaining focus and performance through day, night, and back into daylight.

This year, Team Qatar by Iron Lynx took on the challenge aboard the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, securing a hard-fought P16 finish at motorsport's most iconic endurance event. Built upon decades of racing heritage, the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 embodies the performance, reliability, and engineering excellence that define the AMG brand.

Le Mans is about far more than speed alone. Success comes from precision, consistency, and the collective effort of an entire team working seamlessly towards a common goal. Every decision, every pit stop, and every lap contributes to the final result, requiring unwavering commitment from start to finish.

Throughout the race, Team Qatar by Iron Lynx demonstrated the determination, resilience, and professionalism required to compete on motorsport's biggest stage. In June, Mercedes-Benz Toorak had the privilege of hosting a special evening with Jelena Dokic, Mercedes-Benz Friend of the Brand, for an engaging and thought-provoking event attended by valued clients and guests.

Widely respected for her achievements as a former World No. 4 tennis player, Grand Slam semi-finalist, commentator, and bestselling author, Jelena shared her remarkable journey with honesty, warmth, and authenticity. Throughout the evening, guests gained insight into the experiences that shaped her career and the resilience that has defined her life both on and off the court.

The event featured an intimate Q&A session, where Jelena spoke about overcoming challenges, embracing change, and finding the confidence to pursue new opportunities. Her reflections resonated deeply with attendees, highlighting themes of determination, perseverance, and personal growth.

Guests also had the opportunity to hear more about her acclaimed books, Unbreakable and Fearless, which have inspired readers across Australia and around the world through their powerful messages of strength and resilience.

The evening concluded with a personal book signing of Fearless, providing guests with the opportunity to meet Jelena and continue the conversation.

At Mercedes-Benz Toorak, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do. Recently, we had the pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone as Nin marked his 70th birthday, recognising a remarkable career spanning more than five decades in the automotive industry.

Beginning his automotive journey in Melbourne in 1971, Nin has built an impressive career founded on passion, expertise, and dedication. His experience has taken him across Australia and overseas, including time in the United States working as a motorsport technician before moving into a Service Adviser role in 1985. Since joining Mercedes-Benz Toorak eight years ago, Nin has become a valued member of our team and a trusted point of contact for many of our customers.

What makes Nin truly special is his commitment to people. Throughout his career, he has built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike, always taking the time to listen, understand, and provide the highest level of service.

When asked for advice for those entering the industry, Nin's response reflects the values that have guided his career: technical knowledge is important, but building trust and genuinely caring for customers is what creates long-term success.
