What is it?
The smart Pixel Project will be a huge photographic montage made up of loads of images of smart drivers and fans, coming together to form one bold image – a symbol of the smart community.
How do I get involved?
As a smart driver or fan, there are a couple of easy and fun ways to get involved in the smart Pixel Project:
- Simply attend one of the big smart community Pixel Project events in your city, where you can talk to other drivers, get a professional photo taken to make your own custom pixel image and even organise a smart test drive.
- If you can’t make it to an event you can use our smart Pixel Maker application on the smart Australia Facebook page to create your own smart character and pixel. This will become your entry in the promotion to WIN a smart fortwo cabrio.
Where are the smart community events?
Launch Event – 2011 Formula 1 Qantas Australian Grand Prix, Thursday March 24th, Saturday March 26th and Sunday March 27th.
Melbourne – Southbank Spillway, Tuesday March 29th - Friday April 1st 2011.
Sydney – Circular Quay, Tuesday April 5th – Friday April 8th 2011.
Brisbane – Reddacliff Place, Tuesday April 12th, Thursday April 14st and Friday April 15th 2011.
Where can I see the final pixel image?
The final pixel image will be displayed on the smart Australia Facebook page and on this website. Entries close at 11.59 pm AEST on 14 May 2011. On 16 May, we’ll randomly select one pixel from the large Pixel Project image and award the creator with a 2011 smart fortwo cabrio!
