Melbourne – Mercedes-Benz Toorak, one of Victoria ’s longest-running new car dealerships, has now consolidated its entire retail operations.
With extensive renovation work now complete at their Toorak-based showroom and workshop, the authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership has now integrated its satellite Camberwell facility into its updated Toorak site.
Situated at Melbourne ’s five-way Burke Road / Riversdale Road intersection, Mercedes-Benz Camberwell was established as a temporary Mercedes-Benz customer sales and service centre whilst the dealership’s Toorak home-base underwent extensive refurbishment works. With these enhancements now finished, dealership operations have now returned to their usual format at Toorak.
Customers familiar with Mercedes-Benz Camberwell will now find the same high-level service and support at Mercedes-Benz Toorak, located ten minutes’ drive away at 11 carters ave, Toorak Village.

The recently completed refurbishment work at Mercedes-Benz Toorak is another example of the ongoing investment the German company has made in its Australian retail operations.
Along with those made by its independent authorised dealer partners, the famous luxury and sports car maker has made a variety of major investments in recent years. State-of-the-art facilities such as the iconic Mercedes-Benz Melbourne dealership on the city’s Kingsway and the innovative Mercedes-Benz Airport Express at Tullamarine have not only enhanced the ownership experience customers expect – they have helped underpin the marque’s market share strength in Australia.
One of the German auto maker’s most notable recent local investments is its own Melbourne-based automotive body repair and paint refinishing workshop. Located in Port Melbourne, Mercedes-Benz Autobody is state-of-the-art in its tooling, staff training and technology. It is also an industry award winner. The specially designed-and-built facility caters for paint and body repairs for all Mercedes-Benz models. As part of the marque’s larger network of authorised repairers, it is the company’s sole factory-owned-and-operated accident repair store in Australia .
And next year sees the company’s investment programme continue. For example, the all-new Mercedes-Benz Sydney will open for business in quarter two. This flagship will not only be the new home base for the highly successful Airport Express dealership at Sydney ’s domestic airport (opened in 2006), it will also be the largest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership in New South Wales .
